Hi Everyone. Yes, you can do a handstand and walk on your hands anytime just like me, when you have connected your mind and body in a healthy way. Our lives are filled with stress, conflict and all sorts of problems, especially these days.
Not only am I the Author of “Delirium’s Edge”, I am also a Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist who has been teaching Mind and Body Relaxation Techniques to people of all ages for over 30 years. I would like to share one of my techniques with you now. (Do not do while driving or operating any heavy machinery. Alsi, if you have significant medical problems check with your doctor before doing, just to be safe).
Let’s begin with a simple 5 minute way for you to Relax and Restore overall Calmness and Peace.
Get into a comfortable position in a quiet, safe environment, and begin with slow and gentle diaphragmatic breathing (focusing on the breath coming from your stomach instead of chest).
Inhale and exhale slowly and completely. As you are letting go of each breath and breathing the air out, feel your problems and stress leave your mind and body.
Do this exercise slowly for 2 to 3 minutes. For the next 2 to 3 minutes allow yourself to sink into a soothing state of calm and well being… come out of this state slowly and gently. You can now feel stronger and calmer and able to move on with the rest of your day!
